The Teachers Network is an initiative of the Parliament enabling teachers to better understand its work and functions. The network serves as a communication and cooperation platform between teachers and Parliament.

This platform aims at establishing a resource center and a space for discussion and exchange dedicated to children and youth education on the country's democratic and decision making processes.

Through this network, teachers will:

• Visit Parliament and participate in working sessions with parliamentary staff to gain practical experience of how parliamentary democracy is implemented;
• Be introduced to current teaching methods on topics such as democracy, active citizen engagement, Parliament role and functions, and how to apply them in their classrooms.
• Receive information and interactive programs for use during their teaching.
• Have cooperation and support opportunities provided by Parliament under various civic education programs;
• Develop and disseminate educational and informative materials on democracy, parliament and good governance.

This program is open to all pre-university education teachers focusing on social sciences subjects.
