One of the priorities of the Parliament of Albania is to promote civic participation and education.
The Civic Education Service of the Parliament of Albania was established in 2022 with the goal of meeting this priority.
This service provides dedicated interactive programs for citizens, focusing mainly on youth.
The aim of these programs is to:
1.
Inform citizens on the functions of Parliament and the work of members of parliament.
2.
Promote active citizenry that understands civil rights and how to exercise them to develop democracy and promote open governance.
3.
Develop critical and analytical skills in youth, so they can develop independent attitudes based on knowledge and values enabling them to influence public policy.
